About SIDO School
Meet Manon Sanders, a passionate advocate for international education and the coordinator SIDO SCHOOL! Inspired by her own children's experiences in foreign exchange programs, Manon recognized the need for dedicated support for exchange students. Determined to address the challenges they face, she founded SIDO School to ensure that every student receives the guidance and advocacy they deserve. With Manon's leadership, the program not only fosters cross-cultural understanding but also prioritizes the well-being and success of each our students.
She is a mother of six from Germany, and made a life changing decision in 2014 when she sent her eldest son Piet to study at a Florida school in the United States. This decision marked a pivotal moment for the family. Having been an educator in Germany at various schools and universities, Manon holds a deep appreciation for education and has written over 35 books in the field. She believes strongly in the quality of education provided by our primary partner school in Florida. Piet, now a business graduate pursuing his master's, maintains strong ties with his alma mater and occasionally works there as a substitute. Per, also an alumnus of the school, graduated with a degree in computer science from a Florida university and is known for his expertise in the field. Peik, the first to attend their primary partner school for all four years, pursued further studies in business administration after completing his AA degree. Pjark, with a passion for computer science and visual arts, graduated from the school and is set to study game design. Manon's daughters, Ronja and Kaja, currently attend the school. The Sido-School team, which includes multilingual members, handles various tasks such as bookkeeping, communication, and marketing is dedicated to welcoming newcomers to the United States. They are thrilled to welcome you to the United States!
