What do I need to do to become an exchange student?
If you want to have this great experience being an international student get in contact wit us – we will help you with everything.
Do I need to have good grades?
If you travel with a F1-visa, it is not important to have the best grades – the schools look for students that fit in.
How do I find my host family?
We are working together with lots of families, and we will talk to you about them. We will find the right family for you and introduce you to them before you arrive.
What classes can I take?
You need to take (of course) one English class, one math class, one science class, and one social study class – then you are free to choose 2-3 more: sports, visual arts, theatre, journalism, and so on and so on!
What sports can I participate in?
We have many sports at our school: team sports, aerobics, weight lifting, and golf. If you want to be on a football team, play soccer or tennis – you can also join a big school to be on that team.
When do I need to apply?
You can apply any time – the school takes students at the beginning of the school year (August) and at the beginning of the second semester (January). The sooner you apply the better – however, we also always have last-minute students. Just try it. As long as we have places for international students, you will be welcomed!
Who takes care of me?
Being in another country is challenging – however, you are not alone. We will help you before you come. We have a coordinator in the town where you are, and you have your host family to help you. Also, everybody at school wants to help you!
